Strict use in X/Y pattern on piano (heavily panned L/R) for great results. Also used in a 3 mic drum setup. Don't let the small size fool you --- fantastic sound. They're tiny, but there's no sound recording. Additionally, the small size makes it easy to hang a stereo pair above the source on your mic stands (no need for counterweights, etc.). Enjoy watching musicians bulge when hearing how good they sound.
