This fan is almost a direct replacement for the side fan that comes with the Thermaltake Armor+ MX case, minus the LEDs. You don't need old nuts and bolts as the screws that come with this fan go through the screw holes on the side panel and screw directly into the fan. Out of the box, you have two choices for connecting power: a two-pin 12V connector, or an adapter that allows you to connect to a standard IDE power connector. The sound level is stable at 58 dB. I measured the sound with a RISEPRO HT-80A decibel meter in a quiet room with the fan attached to the side of the case (only the fan was running). Not a professional estimate but gives an idea of the noise level. You will hear this fan noise when it works normally. Performance: My ATI Radeon HD 4870 dropped from 115°F to 104°F (46.1°C - 45.6).
