Source Hydration did what others couldn't. We're expanding the bubble. Why? Because a wider hydration bladder becomes thinner when filled, giving you more space in your backpack. Think of a heating pad, wide and thin. This is Source Hydration Bladder. The wide opening allows you to put your whole hand in to clean it (which I didn't as I'm waiting for other gear) but it's definitely possible. I'm sorry but can't comment on taste and longevity yet (for the same reasons). Check other reviews. But the reason I bought the Source reservoir in the first place was the "sleek" design. I am not disappointed in that regard.
