Update (02/11/21): The device sometimes seems to charge. I can't tell if this is due to the charging cable as all cables are from Apple or other high end certified cable brands, or if the problem is that the device is charging and then rapidly discharging when not in use. But since it's charging and working right now, I've restored my rating. I'll try to estimate the amount of use per charge, but that's most likely a guess as we don't know how much draw happens when the fan is in each setting, including additional draw when in use. the lights. This is exactly the same problem I had with the first fan and after a whole night on the charger it is completely dead and not charging. I've tried this on multiple cables including OEM USB-C to no avail. I will contact the seller but I don't know yet if they will support their product and replace this fan which I only ordered on 12/28/20 and used maybe twice. The larger battery also helps keep the fans centered around the neck as it provides a point of attachment but doesn't weigh you down or feel heavy. Other than the neck vents, I don't notice any extra weight. The fans can be tilted to hit just about any area you want, and the three speeds are as low as you like. I also like the lightbulbs that are on the back of each fan. They're pretty bright but not blinding. You could easily complete tasks just with the light on, and that would make night walking brighter and safer. As for the extended battery, it's hard to say if it will last longer than others without the extended battery as it all depends on what speed you are and how long it lasts. Also, all of these things can and probably will differ between brands. The fans feel well made and soft but cool against the skin. The first fan I got was defective and wouldn't charge (tried the cable that came with it and also a known high quality cable and the fans never came on). even after the charging indicator shows it is fully charged. The bad fan lights didn't come on either. So if you have this problem, ask for a replacement. Revain immediately sent another and I sent the faulty one back, which was about as inconvenient as sending it back can be. Sometimes I do hear a slight, very slight hum coming from the left fan, but only when I'm sitting in a very quiet room, and it's not enough to really bother me (I may be sensitive to some sounds, but I do don't really notice it unless it's not very quiet and that's all I hear). So overall I'm very happy with my purchase and will probably get at least another one for my husband and maybe an extra just in case. I recommend this fan to anyone who wants to stay cool and likes this design. Also, the extra lights are definitely a bonus feature.
