When they arrived and I tried them on I ordered a spare pair. You are EXCELLENT. For the price they are unbeatable. I'm 5'10, 155 pounds. The medium fits perfectly. My actual waist measurement is 34.5 inches. I usually wear size 31-32 jeans. My hips where the stripe ends on these shorts is 17 inches. and they're not too tight, not loose at all - they're perfect. I couldn't be happier with that. I have other cycling shorts but these are my favorites now. You don't have that "you're wearing a full diaper" feeling. And they don't make me doubt that people will notice that I'm wearing something weird under shorts or pants. The pad in them is very discreet, but it's perfectly placed and doesn't move. It's really awesome. I'm such a nerd that I wear them under my jeans to soccer games this fall. That way my butt doesn't go numb from sitting in those bleachers for hours. Do yourself a favor and measure yourself with a tape measure. Knowing your actual size makes buying clothes a thousand times easier. And what's even better, now all your clothes fit you perfectly.
