I am 5 feet tall and weigh 175 pounds. and those black bibs fit pretty well, but I have to tuck them in a bit where the armpit meets the thigh (the gap is a bit big). I first washed them in warm water and then hot dried them to deliberately downsize them. They are just over an inch long so I can leave them a little baggy around the ankle or tuck them in a little. The denim is durable and they are well made. The pockets are present and very functional. The bib's hardware is mismatched: the clips are silver and the top of the rivet is brass. I do not care. The breast pocket is fake. The upside for me is that they are tapered at the bottom, unlike most farm overalls which are too baggy at the bottom. *** Blue bibs are completely different. See my review. The blue ones close with buttons, you need to sew on another one to shorten the strap. The fabric is softer and the pair I received was an inch and a bit shorter than the black ones. The rest of the landing was similar. I also purposely washed them in lukewarm water and dried them in hot water to shrink them. As with the blacks, I have to take the sides as the armpit gap is quite large and can be too revealing. I like the narrowing at the ankles.
