Review on COA Target Stick: Improve Training and Precision Skills with this Effective Tool! by Kristen Gray

Happy with this COA Target Stick

I bought this COA Target Stick hoping to start training my parrot. GOOD:1. Was cheap. I saw a clicker with a built in target that cost about $18. Oh please. Got this and a separate clicker for a total of $6.2. Easy to use. It reminds me of an old TV antenna (aka "bunny ear"). Has a clip that can be attached to a shirt or bag. I didn't use this feature because I couldn't (and probably won't) get it outside with a bird. I could see the clip is good when you take your dog to the park for training.3. Comes complete with instructions. Admittedly I didn't look at it much due to my vision problems but thought it was nice to have it in the package. NOT THAT BIG: 1. I don't know how long the ball lasts. It's a kind of foam, and if my bird ever grabbed it, the ball would be fried. A bit surprised it's not a plastic bead, but maybe the goal was to make the stick as light as possible.2. The ball appears to be free. I'm not sure if that's how it should be because I can't tighten the end (screw?) any tighter. I was thinking of replacing the ball with a large bead but I can't unscrew it either. In general, the purchase is satisfied. My parrot is currently responding well to the clicker and is still scared of the target. So maybe the ball will last longer than I thought. Hopefully she'll get more comfortable with it over time, but if she doesn't, this goal was cheap enough not to be a terrible waste. Thank you for reading.
