pillowcases matched seller's description. They sit well on the cushions and are easy to attach. They don't have the annoying squeaky noise of some waterproof covers, but they're not as quiet as regular pillowcases either. I have washed them in the washing machine and tumble dried on the gentle cycle and they have come out fine. You've done a good job so far. I don't think if you spill a whole glass of water (or anything else) on them they would be completely waterproof, but they're certainly adequate for "normal" protection. It seems that for a long time the zippers can break easily, but hopefully with careful use this won't be a problem. Also, I'm very happy with them and would buy them again.
