I'm reviewing my rating. these works. You just have to know how to use them. If in doubt about thickness, DO NOT do this. But here's my little story. Mine were too thick and hurting my back in the opposite direction, so I got the idea to cut them with a bread knife. To my surprise, it turned out that the 1.5" was actually the 1" and the 0.5" glued together. So I did the obvious and carefully unplugged them and now I have 2 1" pads and 2 .5" pads. I put the 1" in the center side by side (oriented vertically) under my full mattress and the .5" in the headboard as I also had support issues there. Last night I felt good like Maleficent slept, for the first time in years If you do not have a lot of money and want to find the best configuration for yourself, I recommend it.
