Review on Ray Ban ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ CARAVAN ARISTA CRYSTAL Non-Polarized Sunglasses by Sandra Getchu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These glasses are made in Italy and have glass lenses.

Great sunglasses. I've worn aviator goggles since the 80's, so I know my Ray-Bans. My daughter bought me a pair of these for me about 5 years ago and I wear them all the time when I'm driving or when I'm in the sun, except for fishing - I wear Costa Green 580 glasses another pair for another . Automobile. I have yet to find a better lens with no distortion than this one. Glass never warps no matter how hot the environment is and is far more scratch resistant than plastic. One of their advantages is that they can be worn in direct sunlight or in the car in full summer light conditions to soften the light conditions without feeling too dark. When driving, I prefer non-polarized lenses because they don't distract me from seeing through polarized lenses. Costas are better for fishing because they are the opposite of it. Polarized to see fish through the water, darker to reflect more light off the water and thicker headband to block side sunlight. In addition, these frames are very durable and can be bent to fit the face and ears if adjustment is needed. Another benefit of these goggles, like aviator goggles, is the thinness of the temple/arm. While driving, these sunglasses never block your side view, helping you avoid the dreaded lane change onto someone's front fender. I put my old pair next to the new ones and they appear to be identical which is an indication of their durability.

Pros
  • Non polarized
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
