I got this because my youngest (4 years old) was afraid of the dark despite the wall lamp. Although she shares a bunk bed with her sister. She loves horses and loves the spirit. A part of me was hesitant to pay $30 for it, but they sold it for $28. I had to sit next to her until she passed out and even then she would wake up in the middle of the night waking everyone else up at least 1-2 times. So we bought it and explained that now she has her cozy night light right next to her and she can be a big girl. It took a few days, but now we do our usual business before bed and then I can just go. She turns it on and goes to bed alone. Even if she wakes up in the middle of the night, she just goes back to bed and turns it back on when needed. There is a timer which is good. It says 20 minutes. So he doesn't stay all night. You have enough time to fall asleep with him. WORTH EVERY PENNY!
