Not for hardwood floors and large area rugs

I bought a pack of 8 to use with a full area rug on freshly painted hardwood floors. After reading the instructions and warnings, I decided not to glue the pads to the carpet and just place them in the corners of the carpet. The non-sticky side was already stuck to the bottom and was difficult to remove. The instructions say to move the rug weekly to avoid damaging the floor, but this is inconvenient and impractical for a large area rug (8x10, 9x12). with furniture. My advice is to use these pads on tile or laminate, not hardwood or full-length carpet. I will be returning this product for a refund.
