Failed after a month

Filters what it can, but mostly just flows through the filter and processes further. Faded after a month. The engine is quiet, but the waterfall is loud. I don't recommend waterfall filters as they cause the water to evaporate too quickly. I ended up going with a canister filter and it's much more efficient. This is one of those cases where going cheap doesn't do you any good. Do not use this item.

Pros

The waterfall system can add enough oxygen to the water to promote the growth of beneficial microbes;
