I was pleasantly surprised by these coasters. They are well designed, easy to assemble and look good. They provide solid support for my monitors and to boot they come in silver, the perfect antidote to standard black audio hardware. All hardware is supplied, including a small wrench for tightening the mounting screws. Some notes to note.1. Each post has two vertical support tubes, one large diameter and one smaller diameter. The large bore tube has two longitudinal cuts about 1-1/2 inches long on each end, but only on one side of the tube. This allows you to route the speaker wire through the tube and minimize its visibility. This is not mentioned or shown in the instructions, although it is shown in one of the product photos here on Revain.2. When assembling, make sure the top and bottom of the stands are at right angles to each other or you will end up with an off-center top platform. There's enough play in the assembly that you could end up squinting if you're not careful.3. Racks come with spikes that must be used. If you don't insert them, the screws holding the bottom assembly will touch the ground and the uprights will become unstable. This disappointed me (I have hardwood floors) but it's easy and cheap to fix by placing a coin under each spike. (Coins can also be stacked to compensate for uneven floors.) 4. As mentioned, "Made in China" is engraved on the tops. I don't understand why the company went to all the trouble and expense. Hope your speakers cover it.5. The metal tubes are painted in metallic silver. Judging by the photo, they are made of brushed metal. It confused me a bit - it looks a little cheap - but with the stands attached I don't notice it.
