I purchased this original toner cartridge with a Kyocera TK-1170 chip in the amount of 2 pieces in one of the Hong Kong online stores specializing in the sale of original and compatible cartridges for printing equipment at the lowest price at that time for 2600. a piece. The fact is that when using the Kyocera Ecosys M2040dn MFP, it turned out that it is blocked when a non-original compatible cartridge with a TK-1150 chip manufactured by NVPrint is installed. Moreover, numerous manipulations when trying to unlock the device by simultaneously pressing the OK and STOP buttons, and using various settings in the device menu in order to enable (make active) these buttons, did not lead to anything, the MFP refused to work with this compatible cartridge. Therefore, I had to purchase original Kyocera cartridges, which will be used in the future. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase of this Kyocera TK-1170 cartridge, both with its resource and with an adequate cost.
