These are great hangers - strong enough for most clothes and plenty of room (and time!) to save space. That's great. A few years ago I remodeled my closet with these hangers and now it's much easier for me to fold my clothes and then find what I wanted. It used to be a hassle to stuff a few more hangers into an already crowded closet, and it also felt like I'd "lost" a lot of stuff in there. By switching almost everything to velvet hangers I would say I doubled the amount of clothes I could hang + there was a bit of room to sort things. So I wanted to do the same for my granddaughter's closet. I saw these pink hangers and they seemed like a fun choice. These hangers will fit most of your clothes and are strong enough to hold jeans and denim jackets. However, I've found that jeans are so bulky that hanging them on hangers doesn't really save space compared to old plastic hangers, especially when there are a lot of them. Instead, I fold my jeans and place them on the shelf above the barbell in my closet. These hangers are great for things that tend to slide off other hangers and have a notch for petite tops and dresses with spaghetti straps. These suit style hangers are too big for some of her tops and dresses so I will also be buying some small hangers without hangers in this velvet style. There are a few items of clothing that I don't wear. Art hangers for: my husband's suits, heavy winter coats and some very stretchy but fairly heavy synthetic fabrics that buckle at the shoulder. transfer color to clothing or that they are not durable enough to withstand daily wear and tear. But they don't peel or brush, and they're still going strong, and only the one I stepped on broke. The current price of $27.95 seems very reasonable for a set of 50 of these heavy duty hangers.
