I have a 2009 Shadow Spirit VT750C2 (shaft drive model) and the levers fit perfectly. You can knock the levers out if you have a medium-length half-width flat-head screwdriver, a 10mm wrench, and basic tool skills. It took me about 7 minutes for both. The only possible problem is the clutch cable and how everything fits together. Watch it being disassembled and you will see it being assembled. Wow, big difference in feeling. The new levers were the same length as the factory levers. They look way better than the OEM ones, but the chrome doesn't turn me on. What matters is the feel of the levers, and the extra width of the levers feels good. It's a great upgrade that doesn't cost too much and really improves lever control, especially the clutch lever. The chrome plating isn't very good, I can understand why someone said something about chipping shortly after installation. The clutch cable channel had to be cleaned with a pocket knife, leaving a coarse layer of chrome on the inside. The finish of both levers have a few tiny weak/rough spots in the chrome finish which could cause problems in the future, we'll see. I expect a lot more from Kurakyn, but at least it's not just another chrome-plated plastic sticker that serves no real purpose.
