Disappointed Best in Latches

The hinges are normal Functional and strong. My disappointment is that the holes really aren't big enough for the countersunk screws that complete the set. The screws don't go as deep as they should. My husband drilled a few holes and the screws lay flat. There is no need to drill each hinge if it could be done at the factory. Or the hinges must be with other screws.
