Leaves too much residue, needs reformulating, doesn't seem to work at all

Bought this twice as I was trying to upgrade to a cheaper alternative to my regular Head and Shoulders. I have long hair, seborrheic dermatitis, which is easily managed if I wash my hair/scalp daily or at least every other day, otherwise my scalp will react. If this shampoo worked its value would be great but unfortunately it doesn't. When I first bought it, after a week of use, my scalp started to itch badly. Also, my hair smelled awful (wet dog smell). I was trying to figure out what was going on and the shampoo itself had an odd smell. I had a feeling that maybe it hadn't been properly preserved or I'd encountered a bad batch. Thrown things away (wasn't content with wasting things). I bought Head&Shoulders and within a day or two all the problems I was having were gone. I don't know what came over me but after a few months I decided to try this product again. The experience wasn't as terrible as the first time I used it, but it's far from pleasant. I noticed it left a lot of residue/buildup on my scalp. Seems counterintuitive for a dandruff shampoo. I've found that all I have to do is use a clarifying shampoo to combat the buildup on my hair. I try to resist throwing it away again. I spent more to save money with this one. The remaining bottles just gather dust on my shelf. I think Solimo honestly needs to reformulate this product. I don't know who to go to to complain about this. Compared to Head&Shoulders, Solimo dries out a little less. It barely cleanses the scalp, but doesn't moisturize enough to dispense with a separate conditioner. Just keep your head and shoulders straight, especially if you're looking for a pyrithione zinc product that works. Solimo has a tar shampoo (I think it's trying to trick the Neutrogenate Gel) that seems to work well for dandruff and other scalp issues. However, it does not contain pyrithione zinc and will definitely dry out your hair.
