These are really good gloves. I'm learning to snowboard and am using these gloves instead of a separate wrist brace and combination of large gloves. They have a plastic gusset on the top and bottom of the glove, and a wrist strap pulls them tight to the wrist. They have material on the palm that holds well and is more durable. I like having a cord to hold them on you when they're off. And the drawstring to close the cuff is good too. For me they are good to about 15F. I would describe them as medium warm winter gloves. My wife broke her wrist skiing so I'm going to buy her a pair too.
