I received this today and they are exactly as we expected. Our child (almost a year old and in the 95th percentile for size / she is HUGE for her age) wears size 5 Garanimals shoes and not all brands are created equal. Some 5 sizes are too small but not this one. Luckily they have about an inch of room to grow. I like that there is a fabric lining inside and handles to pull on. The navy blue we received is beautiful and matches our girls raincoat. It is a rich and deep royal blue. Slightly darker than Pepsi Blue. I have to say that she loves the light. She'll spin in circles with her head down, hypnotized and just watching you. I know that as a child I loved the light in my shoes and I know that most other children do too. It's also a fun way to find them and figure out where they're staying when they wander around a bit on dark days. These are very bright. When they arrived in the mail they shone through the packaging if that helps clarify. hahaha They will be on your children's feet so they won't hurt anyone's eyes unless you smack them in the face. hehe
