So I bought this because I wanted a thumb ring. . . I read in many reviews that the fingers turned green. I keep mine in the bag it came in which has a silver cleaning pad inside. I think I had this ring for probably 3 months. I put it in my bag every night when I take pictures. I cleaned it once. I had no problem with my thumb turning green. I even wore it on the boat a few times when I forgot to take it off and leave it at home. Still no problem.
