Build quality is pretty good, like Milton units. However, as mentioned earlier, the inner edge of the hose guide has sharp edges that have not been finished after machining, so it is best to remove the hose and file it yourself to avoid damaging the hose over time. The accuracy for the one I received was 2psi. high over the scale as verified by my annually calibrated NIST traceable standard. Gauge calibration is easy. Proceed as follows: 1. Remove the end cap at the end of the hose guide2. Remove the gasket and the rubber seal. 3. Tilt the device so that the cylindrical gauge comes out.4. Remove the brass post but at the end of the pressure gauge.5. Depending on the reading, tighten the gauge bias screw when the reading is high and loosen when the reading is low. Each 1/4 turn is approximately 2 psi. Turn the screw in the desired direction so that the reading is visible.6. Reinstall the swivel nut, place the gauge back into the assembly, making sure it lines up with the sight glass. Replace seal and gasket, replace end cap.7. Compare the pressure to the standard to verify calibration. Therefore, all reviewers who were unhappy with the readings just need to follow the above steps. Like any sensor, unless it comes with a calibration certificate. Don't think it's ready to use out of the box without being tested against a known standard.
