I've used mine to ventilate a storage area for most of the summer in very hot weather. I use it directly on the solar panels so it only works during the day but it works all day with no problems. Very quiet. The speed at which it works depends on how many panels you have connected to it. Without a battery, it runs very quickly and is a bit louder, but moves a lot of air. With two solar panels connected, it moves a decent amount of air and is very quiet. It moves more than many others designed to work with solar panels. It's my first summer, but so far it's a champion and I'm happy.
