This little thing is a lifesaver for my skin. I store my entire appointment calendar in MS Outlook and sync everything with Rex. Because it's so small, I carry it to work and home all the time. So I can wake up in the morning and check if I have to run to a meeting. My work website phone book is also synced with my contact list. It also syncs my regular Outlook contacts with it. I can easily switch between my small Outlook contact list and my corporate contact list. I also sync a few text files - a little reading from Fool.com and some cheat sheets that I use regularly. great little machine. Truesync is basic but works well for my needs. On my laptop it syncs through the PCMCIA port and at work it syncs through a small bracket that plugs into the parallel port. It may not be the most reliable PDA, but it should be the smallest. If you're worried about breaking it, there are plenty of third-party cases available online. They range from specially cut PCMCIA packaging boxes to leather wallets with titanium inserts! My company gave me a few hundred dollars to buy a PDA and I almost felt guilty that I didn't spend it all on the Rex! I'm glad I did.
