very useful for kitchen and dining room

I'm not a knife snob but this is the nicest knife I've ever had - light, very sharp and good for slicing sauerkraut. However, this is a little longer than practical. All that length is unnecessary and gets in the way when I have limited space to work. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars. I would be happy if it was a few centimeters shorter.
