it's also quite comfortable
I ride a Yamaha Waverunner. On the first ride I met a pelican. I swerved to miss him and slowed. but I made contact and wasn't even scratched. I think the pelican was fine too. it's also quite comfortable. My last helmet had a flip-up face shield. The salt water has ruined the inner workings and the face shield no longer snaps into place.
