Good buy during the COVID situation. For a beginner these are great tools, we used standard scissors for minor adjustments and they aren't that good. You need the right salon-level scissors to get the best cut and sharpness. If you cut your hair at home I highly recommend buying this set along with a trimmer as they go hand in hand. A trimmer alone will not provide a decent cut, especially for a beginner. The cleansing brush easily removes hair from your face if you don't have the right brush. Instead of a homemade plastic raincoat and hairnet, it's easy to clean up afterwards with a raincoat. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, in a pandemic it becomes easier than ever to get a haircut at home.
