I recently bought a new Acer Swift 5 Windows 10 laptop, what I really needed was an ethernet port so I could connect my laptop directly to it for maximum downloading my internet modem could connect speeds. The built-in Wi-Fi worked well, but I really wanted a faster internet connection. The laptop had 3 USB ports, one of which was a USB 3.1C Thunderbolt port. So I looked to Revain for an adapter that would plug into a laptop's Thunderbolt USB port and give me an Ethernet port on the other end so I could connect to my cable modem. This adapter featured the right connections and a reasonable price. When it arrived I turned on my laptop, plugged the adapter into my laptop, plugged in my high speed modem and voila! My laptop recognized my modem immediately and I was online with a direct connection, which enabled me to turn off my laptop's WiFi and triple my download speed. Conclusion: I am very satisfied with this purchase. No drivers need to be downloaded. Worked right out of the box. Looks high quality. 5 Stars.
