I have a 13.5 gallon universal reef tank. I loaded the filter section with Denitrate and Purigen and my protein skimmer literally stopped collecting dirty water in its cup! The combination of these two is enough to keep my nitrates below 10ppm at all times and keep every coral and fish in my tank happy!
