I like this bowl because I feel like it suppresses odors. My cats don't like scooped litter, but I'm very slowly trying to translate it. It really sticks with clay spatula. TIP: I got this great idea from someone and I want to share it. I kept my lid from my old litter box hoping it would fit. Almost succeeded, but not quite. She told me to use paperclips. I used 4 large clips (small ones don't work either) and it holds the lid in place without any wobbling which might startle them. As you can see, there's a little non-standard, but not much.
