Has anyone lost them? What do thickness, clarity and warmth have to do with paper coffee filters? I have a large old fashioned coffee cone holder and need Chemex style filters for it. Unfortunately, most Chemex filters have a seam that will disintegrate under pressure, releasing all of the sediment into the bowl. And all Melita style filters are too small to fit in a large cone filter holder. Despite the fact that the number of these filters will last about 200 years, it seemed reasonable to buy such commercial filters, and my guess turned out to be correct. These perfectly round filters are easy to fold and insert into the large cone-shaped filter holder to brew excellent coffee.
