The first one came much earlier than expected BUT it broke in half. Contacted the company and they replaced it immediately. Ironically, the replacement appeared when the original was due to appear. First, it can hold a full set of knives, as you can see in the shop for sets that already come with the knife block. We got this because we had different knives like high quality steak knives and a butcher knife but there was nowhere to put them except for a tie. We ended up not using these knives because they were out of reach. It's also dangerous to keep knives in a drawer. This block was the answer to our problem. These knives are now easily accessible and safely stored.
