This is a rare article where they have used coat-only photos instead of model photos and there is a good reason for that. This coat is very oddly built. The lining breaks a few inches from the center front where the coat closes and therefore hangs very oddly no matter what you do with it. The lining ends too early on the sleeves and at the base of the coat, causing the outer fabric to contract unfavorably. The large one we saw fit well and buckled properly to accommodate her shape, but also looked very odd in the middle and wobbled when using the strap. So we tried it on me, average and I was able to cover the front and use the strap and it looked pretty acceptable but not great. The faux fur is attached with buttons that don't hide when the faux fur is removed, making it look cheap and odd and unflattering in that regard. The faux fur portion of the coat doesn't close high enough to keep you warm when it's cold and you really wouldn't wear a coat like this if it wasn't cold so the design isn't perfect. The thicker lining has to completely cover the coat so the material is an even thickness and they have to change where the faux fur is attached so it can actually be removed. You should also have it closed higher as it won't get warm if left open to the chest. Overall it's only three stars because it's better than some and worse than some, but I don't recommend it because nobody looked good in it. Good luck with your search.
