Gets the job done. I install some collectibles on my wall that gets 2-3 hours of direct sunlight every morning. I wanted to protect my belongings but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Paper blinds simply attach to the window frame and then extend to the bottom of the window. The clips are there in case you want sunlight or want to open a window. It is imperceptible from the side. These blinds are very effective, I don't see much light, the room is constantly dark and my valuables are protected from the sun.
