It works well but seems to be most effective when I do a gentle sweeping motion rather than holding it still for it to work on its own. There is a container for collecting chips. It's important to empty this small chamber frequently or keep it upright during use, otherwise you'll spill its powdery contents. It also seems most beneficial to do small, regular treatments rather than waiting a while to do the hard work. In general it is worth the money.
