I used to buy these shoes from the Vans outlet store. I couldn't find it anywhere online except here. Some aspects of this shoe are very suspect. The original shoes were made of leather and were soft to the touch. This shoe is made of grippy rubber with a leather pattern. The tongue of this shoe is very hard and hurts my foot because it digs into the area of my foot where it touches my foot. It's hard enough bruising just walking. As a result, I untied the last 2 loops to allow the tongue to flex a bit. The original tongue was made of soft leather and filled with a soft material, giving it a soft feel. In contrast to the original, the sole of this shoe is very thin and hard. The original had a thicker sole, making the shoe heavier overall. This one is very easy. All of this led me to believe that this is a fake Vans.
