XMP on B450 board crashes

16GB and 3200MHz but set to 2666MHz due to interference. However, it has to be said that this is not 3200 MHz RAM out of the box. This can be achieved in XMP mode (if your board supports it) and depends on board manufacturer and compatibility. So you're either lucky enough to be working in XMP or you're not, which allows you to work at standard frequencies. Memtest86 shows errors in XMP and not when XMP mode is disabled on my B450 Gigabyte Pro WiFi board. So, yes, there is a way to increase the voltage and maybe find a stable clock/voltage combination after many hours of tuning. Even then, it can fail as computers do this randomly. I like lights but I would never pay more than what I paid for them. Either buy real 3200MHz (and pay more for it) or live with it if you have Ryzen as the gain is so small it doesn't matter in games. If you're into video editing and content creation, spend more, there are tons of better options out there. Ryzen is picky about RAM, so it's always a risk.
