We bought this for our recent trip to Italy and it worked great. A few pointers if you are unsure before purchasing: 1. The power adapter converts the US plug but does not convert the voltage to 120V. So be sure to check what voltage your device is rated for (check the plug or where). the plug connects to the device ). My AC cell phone charger is rated for 110-220v so this worked great. It didn't work with my hair straightener. This is stated in the product description but worth repeating. Elsewhere on Revain.2 there are more expensive and comprehensive voltage conversion products available. We used this adapter to charge two cell phones and an extra battery to charge our phones on the go when we were out all day. It worked great. USB adapters are designed for 2.4 volts and do not support fast charging (at least in our experience). That means it's great for charging your phone overnight or when you're not using it for a long time, but not for a quick 1-2 hour full charge like you would with a fast charger - use the AC adapter for that.
