I was looking for something to cheer up my 48 year old wife after she had put up with me and suffered from some terrible ailments. Knowing her love for rings, having bought her over sixty rings over the years I thought this would be perfect and it was. Neither she nor I had ever heard of moissanite, but we discovered that it only occurs in meteorites. I have never seen natural stone but I think they are small and very expensive. This is a lab created stone, absolutely beautiful and like most lab created stones, absolutely flawless. I couldn't find anything that says how many carats the main stone weighs and after typing 2.5 my wife said at least 3. The cut is very pretty and gives off a lot of sparkle from every angle. The ring itself is 10k white gold. I would have preferred 14k but at this price of gold it's hard to find rings for 14k. It's still better than silver. Is the asking price worth it? Based on all the rings I've bought I would say this is definitely value for money. Sure it's not a diamond, but it looks just as good in my opinion, just try to find a 3 carat diamond for less than $600. I would definitely recommend this, especially for husbands who want to give their significant other a smile.
