Bought on 08/23/19. 05/10/2020 when changing the battery for the second time since the purchase, it got dusty. One of the springs was almost rusted despite branded batteries and there was a white coating in the battery compartment. Yes, I'm a pathetic elderly woman who doesn't even know the proper terms for these things and I'm stuck on this little old TV (which I don't mind) but I feel like that remote control was worthless. Before that, the replacement remote lasted a little longer.
