I hated the remote control that came with my Samsung TV so much I used Roku instead. However Roku started acting strange and 4k wasn't recognized properly so I went back to using the apps on the TV and was SO disappointed with the remote. I got this one on a whim - thought it was cheap and I could return it if it didn't work with my obscure model (an old 40" NU7100). It works GREAT though - I didn't have to do anything. The keys are soft and intuitive and the IR works way better than the others (doesn't work out of the blue but other than that I don't really need to point it directly at the TV either) it's funny how little things make life so much easier sometimes :)
