Review on πŸ“· Olympus Zuiko 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 Digital ED SWD Lens for Olympus DSLR Cameras by Shah Jones

Great lens: DSLR lenses

I've been using my 70-300mm for over 1 year, it's a surprisingly good lens for the price (<$400), especially on sunny days. a bit soft at 300mm, looks a bit blurry and the stop is too small. Aperture 5.6 max. If you've used this lens to shoot in the shade, you'll usually end up with blurry images. well, don't blame it for that price. However, when I have that 50-200mm, it's like a myopic person getting their glasses - much clearer. I would say crystal clear. Of course it can't be compared to 300mm f/2.8 or 150mm f/2.0 (too expensive, can't comment on them as I don't have them). 2 lbs Even in the same situation, the images are much clearer than 70-300mm. With the exception of a high-speed bird in flight or in low light, the wide aperture of f/2.8-3.5 will always allow you to capture good blur-free shots. If I could come back again I would immediately buy 12-60mm, 50-200mm and just the camera body. I rarely use kit lenses these days, although they work very well (much better than other brands' kit lenses. Thanks Olympus).
