I was very glad in 2011 that I had a K-cup coffee maker to make coffee in a cup and not a pot like I was (and still am). ) the only coffee drinker in the house. Also, the K-Cup machine took up less space than my coffee maker and was much easier to clean and maintain. However, I still received ground coffee/bags as gifts etc. I haven't had a chance to use them. In addition, plastic cups have become a problem - storage and variety are part of it. To solve both problems, I researched reusable cups and found the Perfect Pod System in 2012. The cup was perfect and the filters were perfect. easy to use, easy to store and I could even reuse my bagged/ground coffee. They work much like large coffee filters - you insert them, fill them to the desired level (for strength), insert them. Customs service. When it's done (and cooled), pull out the plastic cup and discard the tiny filter. It is slightly more environmentally friendly than disposable items. With proper care, the main pool does not need to be cleaned. I've been a Perfect Pod customer since 2012 and still am and likely will be in the future. I only wish I could afford a 200 filter pack :)
