Review on ✍️ RENAISSER Stylus Pen for Surface: Bluetooth Remote Control, 4096 Pressure Sensitivity Levels, Made in Taiwan, Rechargeable - Raphael 520BT by Fred Vazquez

Great alternative to the Surface Pen 2!

I bought this after my third Surface Pen (SP2) broke. (The SP2's stupid plastic cone broke after I dropped it once.) However, the 520BT has a solid aluminum body that's super smooth in the hand and a joy to draw with! It has tilt sensitivity and a Bluetooth button, but I didn't use those features. Plus, it's the only other stylus that works with Surface Pro's magnetic mounts! It's a great pen and a little cheaper than the SP2. Compared to SP2, 520BT: [+] A solid piece of aluminum (no aluminum and a thin plastic cone) [+] Can be recharged, but don't lose the charging cap! (Although a replacement is available)[+] The 1-year warranty can currently be extended to 2 years for free![?] Noticeably thinner, but still has a good weight.[-] To wake the pen, click ( switched on compared to SP2 which reacts immediately)[-] Does not reach the maximum pressure values. The awakening of the pen is just a little annoying, but the last moment is interesting. Does the pressure seem to drop before reaching the maximum pressure level? For painting, this means that a 10-point brush, for example, grows to 9 points. In practice, you can usually just use the 11-point brush to paint your 10-point lines, but some may find this a deal breaker. I personally find the 520BT responds to pressure changes more smoothly than the SP2, making my lines look cleaner. I'm using Surface Pro 7 with Clip Studio Paint and it works fine.
