First of all it arrived 2 days before my predicted delivery window, always a plus! Upon opening I was struck by the beauty of the bamboo tree. nice to serve after slicing. The magnetic step for accessories is ingenious and very practical (I forgot to attach it in the photo). I used a knife to cut up some hard cheese I had and it worked great! The only issue I had was that the slicer moved slightly when using it, causing the metal to sometimes skip a track. Still, it slices cheese with ease. Keeping the cheese close to the tipping point is crucial (I'd get 4.5 stars, but higher since everything else is top notch!)*
