I bought this belt for my 91 K1500 based on good reviews, should have known better based on the price. It first came loose 5 minutes after installation while backing out of the garage. My first thought was that maybe I didn't put it on properly. When I started the car the next morning he put the seat belt back on and I knew he was in the right place. Checked everything again, pulleys, tensioner, tensioner etc and couldn't find the reason for loosening. Reinstalled the belt for the 3rd time and now the betting squeal started, but at least it continued until the next morning. Car started and immediately stalled. This time I didn't even have to put the wrench on the tensioner to install the belt, it was tight enough to slide right under. At this point I put the 15 year old belt back on and ordered a quality Gates belt for about $10 more than I paid for this one. Not a single issue since installing the Gates belt and it's as quiet as it should be. Other people may have had better luck with this belt, but not me. At least I didn't get stuck anywhere.
