Review on πŸ₯Ύ Waterproof Winter Snow Boots for Boys and Girls by Nova Mountain by David Rhodes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great boot for cold weather and fun in the snow

My Opinion: The outside size is very deceptive compared to the foot. Should have 3/4" padding/insulation on all sides, increasing overall size. Compared to the Carters boots, they are a few notches up for actual winter use. They appear to be well made for winter use, snow and Profile are deep enough to avoid snow crusting Sides are high which keeps most of the snow with the suit on top Sides are flexible and not rigid so any twisting/slipping that occurs in winter hits the ankle directly. I'm expecting at least one sprained ankle this season Insulation seems to be standard despite the bulk I'd be ok if he was 20 when they moved in. Overall construction is a soft rubber base and a firmer outsole bad for durability?as they probably only last about 1 year they will probably live well be careful with anything concerning wasps trym (twig?) I think they will di e pierce rubber sides fairly easily. In this situation, lower them, but the snow hides a lot. Kid's Eye (for what it's worth): Easy to enter/exit if the bungee cord is slack. The thread is easy to slide, even when wearing gloves. The bulky ones cause a few stumbling blocks from time to time. "Very, very warm!" Parents' suggestion: take them with you and let them carry them inside for a while so they get used to the size before heading outside and racing through the winter wonderland at full speed. If you don't already have bulky boots, these will be used. Conclusion: I will buy again next year and in a new size! Not for: Snowmobiling or some winter sports in my opinion. Being a motorcyclist and applying the knowledge to the snow counterpart is a serious risk due to the lack of strong sideboards!
