1200 grit dry/wet sandpaper is great for repairing small dents on a car. I ordered the exact touch up paint and the gentleman in the parts department told me to order 1200 grit, wet it, sand the area on the machine, let it sit for at least an hour, wipe off any remaining sandpaper and then paint over the dent. When I took it to the shop they wanted to charge me $1200 to fix it. Serious? My cost was $9.95 sandpaper and $14.89 touch up paint and top coat in a tube from the dealer and my time. Do it yourself!
