I use this leash to walk my two small Rat Terrier dogs, I attach one to each end and then hold it in the middle of the rope. I've tried splitters before and it's way more convenient, easier, and better for dogs! I use a 15ft leash, I think more would be too much for suburban or city walks! A longer leash might be good for hiking or something else if your dog can't be leashless. I'll probably use this a bit with my pup as well when training my memory, although she's pretty good at it so I don't know how long the training leash will last. I have the feeling that round climbing ropes are more comfortable in my hands than flat braided lines. Being able to get one dog to run in front of another, or to make a stop to sniff while one is still running is just awesome, and you can very easily prevent them from getting caught using this method I've been using use this line, tangle. Highly recommended!
